Solicitor / Associate / Senior Associate, Plaintiff Personal Injury (Mixed Practice)

The firm

A well-established Queensland plaintiff personal injury firm with a strong focus on its clients. Matters run on a no win, no fee basis, and the team takes the time to explain things to clients plainly and in person where needed.

The role

You'll manage a mixed plaintiff PI file, with the level of independence matched to your experience. Matters include:

• Motor vehicle accident (CTP) claims
  
• WorkCover and common law work injury claims
  
• Public liability claims under PIPA
  
• Medical negligence
  
• Institutional abuse claims
  
• TPD, income protection and superannuation claims
  

At the more senior end, you'll also supervise junior lawyers and paralegals and work directly with the principals on complex matters.

About you

• Admitted in Queensland with 2 to 10 years PQE in plaintiff personal injury
  
• Experience with pre-court procedures, compulsory conferences and litigation
  
• Exposure to more than one scheme (CTP, WorkCover, PIPA)
  
• Comfortable with clients who are often dealing with injury, loss or trauma

• Salary negotiable depending on experience, plus super
  
• The role will be pitched at Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate level depending on your experience
